Just a little step down from the kitchen dining area and you’re into the cosy sitting room with windows and views from all three sides. Here you will find a comfy sofa, armchairs and a small bureau if needed. You have French and English TV plus a DVD player. The handmade wooden kitchen still retains the original cattle manger which is now formed into part of the kitchen space. You will find plenty of storage, a full size fridge freezer, a gas hob with an electric fan oven and a dishwasher. We like to supply you with all the equipment we think you’ll need to enjoy your time here whether you’re having a bar-b-que or baking a cake. The master bedroom is a genuinely lovely high ceilinged room with a king size bed, plenty of storage and hanging space. It is a double aspect room and is wonderfully light with views overlooking the pool and the valley below on one side and countryside views from the other. There is enough space to add a travel cot or folding bed for a toddler if required. (please request in advance) All bed and cot linen is included. The second bedroom also with high ceilings has a full-size bunk bed and plenty of storage. It overlooks the courtyard and pool terrace. The bathroom is fitted with a spacious corner shower with rain head and handheld fittings. With a large wooden dining table and chairs a big parasol and your bar-b-que. The best views of the entire property are to be had from here with long rolling views of the Ceou Valley and Le Peyruzel. You can enjoy morning, afternoon and evening sun and then watch the spectacular sunsets from your private terrace. It is 9 x 5 meters and has a consistent depth of 1.5 metres. The terrace has a sunny aspect and plenty of sun loungers and is fully secure to protect children. The pool is heated to around 26 degrees, this will often increase in the high season. The pool opens in April and is usually at temperature around May through to the end of the season. The pool is fitted with an electric security cover meeting all safety standards and for extra security (especially for those with very young children) it is fully enclosed with child safety gates. From the terrace you can also go through the jasmine covered archway into a small grassed private garden area. Here you will find sun and shade and be able to sit and overlook the countryside views across the valley. Truffle is particularly well suited to families with toddler aged young children as downstairs is all on one level with only a tiny step from the kitchen to the living area. It is also fitted with a child gate at the top of the stairs. An extra gate can be provided for the bottom of the stairs if required. They moved to live permanently in the stunning region, of France in 2016, buying the little group of properties now known as Walnut and Truffle plus their own house Crécerelle. They live on site on the other side of the courtyard so are on hand to advise or help at any time.
